Amped Student Ministries is a division of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. Our goal at Amped is focused in three areas which are found throughout the teachings of Jesus. We are to Love God, Love others, and be a servant. We feel that this can only be accomplished by directly following those teachings and keeping ministry personal.

Youth Pastor Training
Amped Student Ministry seeks to be a resource for youth pastors throughout MD/DE. In that effort, we will be continually offering training events geared specifically to help you in your ministry, your personal journey and your journey with your family. We are constantly listening to your needs so we are able to better serve you and your ministry. Please contact us if you would like to share a training need that would aid you in your ministry.

Annual Meeting: Brunch with Richard Ross
We will be offering a training session at the Annual Meeting this year in Silver Spring, MD. The speaker this year is Richard Ross. Richard will be speaking to the Student Ministers at a brunch in Silver Spring, MD, on November 12 from 9:30-11:00 p.m at the Sheraton Hotel. – Register for the Luncheon
“Richard Ross is husband to LaJuana, who has joined him in a lifetime of loving teenagers. They are parents of college student Clayton. Richard served as youth minister for thirty years and now is a volunteer with teenagers and parents at Wedgwood Baptist in Fort Worth. Richard is professor to the next generation of youth ministers at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth. Since its inception, Richard has served as the spokesperson for the international True Love Waits movement.”
